our silver clay is made in japan from recycled silver - tiny silver particles mixed with water and a natural binder. after firing, the binder burns away and it becomes solid 99.9% silver

that’s completely normal, the clay dries as you touch it. if it feels dry, add a tiny drop of water and keep going. try to work quickly with light hands - the less you touch it, the longer it stays soft

dip your fingertip in water and smooth them over - whatever you see in the clay will show in the silver too. these little imperfections make the piece perfectly yours :)
