the idea to make a pen had been on our minds for a while - and it also marked a shift, moving towards making objects. this exhibition actually started with this pen: it was exciting to use what we already knew, to take apart pens we had, sketch a plan, and figure out how this could work in silver.

the idea for silver buttons began with mom’s gardening shirt, which once was dad’s good shirt, and now - with silver buttons - it’s onto its third life.
